Description

Wowsa was this character a blast to envision. In this tale he holds a small but important role of the one who foretells that Anhim would have a son that would meet face to face with the "blue eyed beast"(in which we find out is Link) in battle. )

Shamahn is a demon who lived life in seclusion , claiming he has knowledge "of all things". Anhim , King of Demons in this period prior to the reign of Demise ,frequently sought audience with him in order to stay up to speed on where he was heading. The soothsayer spoke only what he was asked and what he knew at that time but warned that "mysterious powers at work can alter the outcome , so you must tread with a thousand eyes"
Anhim did not listen to this as he was confident in his ability to crush all that oppose. So far, everything Shamahn  had said onto him had come to past : His ascension into power, his wealth, and his success in acquiring all territories of demons who tried to oppose him.He had become so dependent on what he had said that he had ordained him "The Prophet" of his palace. Regardless, Shamahn chose to stay in his cave so he could meditate.Over time, his predictions became more and more vague as Shamahn noticed that the king had no intention on using the knowledge for the sake of strengthening the demon's hold on the territories(Surface)  but for his own gain.(Shamahn never favored monarchy as much) Anhim had become extremely impatient and begun to ask things that were almost completely beyond his knowledge, but as ordered(to avoid consequences) he gave him an answer anyway, some of them being so vague that it was hard for Anhim to understand. The question he asked that troubled him the most was about the curse that was placed on him before killing the king before him.
"There was a curse that the old behemoth placed upon me that said my offspring would not succeed me, and will ultimately die..as well as my mate. Will this come to be?Will I have them? if so, Am I truly cursed?".

To this, the clairvoyant demon answered, "You will have a mate and you will have your offspring, however, what you speak of..this curse.. is beyond my sight".
He then went on to state: There will be great deception...but among the familiar. So much bloodshed.Your son..he will see the blue eyed beast and he will do battle...beyond that, I cannot see.

This answer was almost unacceptable to the impatient King ,but he was satisfied enough to leave him be for months. Those months passed , and since then, he had 2 sons, one with an ear that failed to match the other; He named him Ghirahim. Not long after the mother;the demoness that Shamahn had predicted would bare them named Aurorah; had died. This angered the King because he had assumed that if the son, now sons survived, she'd be still alive, and the curse, voided. In the midst of his rage, he did not hesitate to return and execute him brutally after his supposed "lies" and diminishing usefulness proved too much for his mind.

This set the stage for many events thereafter

-Such a small role but significant to the character Anhim's development. There is a familiar symbol upon his chest that is a skewed version of the Shiekah crest. Make what you wish of that :) who knows, it just may be added to the tale itself. This character had no design but is written about in the text so with reading it, I brought him to life.Enjoy, and comments are welcomed. In order to develop as an artist one must be criticized or simply acknowledged . hurhur! Take care! Movin on!
